Bring your gear from your old kit lists and let the app tag it all for you so you can easily find exactly the right stuff
My Kit is brilliant once it's set up but if you've already spent the time building lists elsewhere it's a lot of work to redo.
Now you can bring them straight in. Pull a whole Reminders list in as a new list, or fold the items into My Kit — either way you're starting from what you've already got, not from nothing.
Second, tagging done for you. Instead of labelling everything by hand, you just describe what you actually do — "I ski once a year, hike most weekends, and cycle to work" — and the app suggests tags for your kit to match. It goes through item by item and proposes which activities each one belongs to; you tap to accept the ones that fit and ignore the rest. It only ever adds tags, never touches the ones you've set yourself.
The payoff is the bit you actually wanted: when you're packing for a ski trip, you tap "ski" and there's your ski kit. No scrolling, no remembering, no starting from scratch.
Build kit lists, share costs, and plan trips together.
