Every group trip has the same tedious thread. Who's driving? Have you got room for one more? What time are you leaving? Can you swing by and grab me on the way? It goes round and round in the group chat and somehow nobody's ever quite sure of the answer the morning you actually set off.
So trips now have journeys. Add one, say where you're going from and to, and when you want to leave or arrive. If you've got spare seats, you can offer them. If you haven't got a way there, you say you need a lift.
From there it sorts itself out. If you need a lift you can request a place with anyone who's got room; if you're driving you get the requests and can accept them or turn them down. No more guessing whether that "I might be able to squeeze you in" ever turned into an actual seat.
Best of all, once the times are set, your departures and arrivals drop straight onto the trip schedule alongside everything else — "Leaves 7:30", "Arrives 10:15" — so the whole group can see the shape of the day without anyone having to ask.
It's the difference between a trip where getting there is its own saga, and one where it's just handled.
