Not everything from this update needs its own write-up. Here are a few smaller things that quietly make the app better.
Light mode. The app has spent its whole life in the dark. Now you can choose Light, Dark, or have it follow your phone automatically — so it's not blinding you on a bright morning or glaring at you in a tent at night.
Custom Invites. Now you can use our standard text or put together your own invite — your own wording, the trip photo, the dates, the location, and who's already coming — with a live preview as you build it. It's a much easier "yes" when the invite actually looks like the trip you're selling.
Proper route maps. Routes now open out to a full-screen map with an elevation profile underneath, so you can see at a glance how much climbing you're letting yourself in for. You can download the GPX to use on your watch or in your favourite app, or share a route by a link so even someone without the app can grab it.
Weather where you're going. The forecast used to be a trip-wide thing. Now individual places and routes carry their own forecast too, so you can check what it'll be like at the actual spot you're headed for, on the day you'll be there.
